The second in the series, on New York based Knopf's in-house book jacket designer, Chip Kidd. Lots of jackets -- Kidd has designed thousands to date -- to select from, in all shapes, finishes and sizes.
Finding a suitable book-design to grace the cover, was tricky: Kidd loved comics, and comic books, so I took a heavily half-toned paperback called 'Pastoralia' [2000] and used a carefully selected section of that.
